Cherlene Eloria

Cherlene (she/her/hers) is building a practice in all areas of labour, employment, human rights, professional regulatory and administrative law.
Cherlene is passionate about advocating for workers’ rights. Before joining Moore Edgar Lyster LLP as a lawyer, Cherlene completed her articles at a union and employee-side labour and employment firm in Ottawa, Ontario.
Cherlene attended law school at the University of Ottawa, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. As a law student, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, tutored first-year students as a Dean’s Legal Research and Writing Fellow, and was an Assistant Editor with the Ottawa Law Review.
Cherlene is also proud of her Filipino heritage. She is a founding member of Kabangka, a national not-for-profit that empowers Filipino-Canadian youth through mentorship and other programs.
In her free time, Cherlene enjoys the outdoors, theatre, and music.
