Kieran (he/him/his) is building his practice in labour, human rights, administrative, constitutional and professional regulatory law.

Before joining Moore Edgar Lyster LLP as an associate, Kieran was counsel with the Department of Justice, Tax Law Services Division, where he also completed his articles.

As Crown counsel, Kieran managed a large caseload of trials, appeals, and judicial reviews. He has appeared before both Federal and Provincial courts, including as lead counsel before the Federal Court of Appeal.

During law school, Kieran worked for the Law Students' Legal Advice Program and provided research assistance for the Community Legal Assistance Society. He also served as Social Justice and Public Interest Representative at UBC, planning career panels as well as the 2017 Social Justice Forum at the Law Courts Inn.

Outside of work, Kieran volunteers with the People’s Labour Project, a cross-Canada collective of organizers that trains workers to organize their workplace and negotiate fair collective agreements. Kieran is passionate about workers’ rights and expanding workers’ control over their lives and the political process.

Kieran enjoys taking his dog, Luna, on walks to the beach and reading books on history and politics. He can also be found discovering new and increasingly complicated cocktails to mix for friends at his extensive home bar.
